Dulce Life / Sweet Life: I'm a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in Spanish working in the field since 2013. I've worked for a crisis diversion center and in home therapy and have gained experience in various issues encountered in life. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with issues of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, grief, and survivors of abuse. I received my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in Social Work from Stockton University with a concentration in child welfare, diversity, cultural competence, leadership, and management. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for depression and suicidality, EMDR and Trauma-Focused CBT.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.

There is a time of breaking down and a time of building up. There is a time to cry and a time to laugh. Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
Family therapy are provided to understand that everyone wants to be the best they can be as a unit. We will navigate the challenges you are experiencing and work to find solutions to manage difficult moments. I provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment while helping families understand and resolve conflicts within their world. I take a very supportive stance in getting to the first part of making a change.
Children and adolescent deserve to feel safe, worthy, & whole exactly as they are. In therapy, children and adolescent will experience a warm & emotionally attuned environment where their entire self can be witnessed without judgement. As an antidote to shame, I encourage an exploration of all your complexity with curiosity & kindness and offer a variety of grounding exercises, mindfulness techniques, & other holistic resources to help children and adolescent feel more confident navigating through life.
Immigration evaluations are conducted to greatly strengthen your immigration case. These evaluations can be conducted in either English or Spanish. These evaluations include Extreme Hardship cases, Violence Against Woman's Act (VAWA), U Visa and/or Asylum. I work collaboratively with your attorney and will provide an accurate written report for your case.
